Condition: Painting does not appear to be re-lined; painting has some localized areas with visible craquelure; there is a restored area – discolored, ovalish in shape, approximately 1.5 x 2.5 inches, and comprised of some epoxy on the verso – clearly from a restorer. There is restoration to the painting, near the center, that corresponds with the aforementioned restored area on the verso. This restoration is roughly 2 x 1 inches and is in part of a yellow sail. There are some very minor localized spots of discoloration (unknown foreign matter). There is some retouch to part of canvas, apparently along parts of left edge, and at lower left, including to part of the standing man's right leg.
