Condition/Details: Bound in purple cloth with a bright gilt embossed design on the spine, this vintage volume is a scarce signed work by one of the co-discovers of the DNA structure. This work is considered one of the 100 best non-fiction books by Modern Library. Included with this volume is a certificate of authenticity from GAI, certifying the signature, with a number of GV 528993. The work contains many photographs and illustrations related to DNA. The volume shows well, with some minor edgewear to the jacket and the extremities of the boards. The text block is solidly bound with clean, crisp pages. The previous owner's bookplate is inside of the front board. The book measures approximately 5.75" x 8.5" and contains 226 pages. Shipping cost (within the U.S.) for this lot will be: $4.50
