Introduction by Carl Van Vechten. 50 collotype reproductions of drawings by Alastair, several in color, with lettered tissue guards. 4to, publisher's cloth-backed decorated covers, edges a bit rubbed. New York, 1925

Notes: inscribed by van vechten to his wife, fania marinoff, in the month of publication, and with an original watercolor by alastair. The inscription reads: "For my bobbed-haired bride with all my love - These drawings of a vague vice. Carlo. November 19, 1925." With Marinoff's bookplate on front pastedown, designed by willy pogany. The watercolor of a woman in a Victorian dress, holding a veil, is colored in brown, black, pink, turquoise, and gold, measuring 280x220mm. Signed by Alastair on verso.
