Springtime maidens signed 'J.Bernard' (lower right) oil on panel 20 5/8 x 14 3/8 in. (52.5 x 36.7 cm.) NOTES Hans Zatzka was known to have used the pseudonym 'J.Bernard' on occasion, and this lot we believe is an example of this. There is often confusion between J. Bernard and the French painter Joseph Bernard (1864-1933).
