(One plate detached but present.) Original lithographed wrappers after Shevchenko (small rust-spots from staples, light wear, spine foot chipped).
FIRST EDITION of Shevchenko's essay on the development of Cubism. With lithographs after Larionov (1), Goncharova (1), V. Barth (2), Shevchenko (2), V. Skuie (2), and one by an anonymous child. Rare: ABPC records only one copy at auction, sold in 1981. Hellyer 482; MoMA, The Russian Avant-Garde Book 51.
