(original), 22" x 18", signed and dated, "July, 1912". Provincetown painter. Beneker studied at the Art Institute of Chicago, and with Hawthorne in Provincetown. He was a member of the Salmagundi Club, Provincetown Art Association, and the Beachcombers Club. He exhibited at the Detroit Institute of Art, Art Institute of Chicago, and the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Art.
