three-quarter length, facing right, nearly profile, leaning on one elbow, wearing a white dress with a blue and red sash, a tree directly behind and an extensive landscape in the distance at right oil on canvas The sitter was the only surviving daughter of Thomas Lodge, Esq., of Leeds. She married on December 3, 1778, Richard J. Sullivan, Esq., who was created a baronet in 1804. She died in December of 1832. Numerous sittings are recorded in 1779 and 1784, as are sittings for her husband's portrait. Engraved by R. Bowyer Parkes, October 20, 1877.
