Having a two train movement striking on a bell, the dial with foliate scroll spandrels and silvered chapter ring enclosing a date aperture, signed on a plaque in the arch Wm. Allam/ London, above subsidiary strike/silent and seconds dials, set within an ebonized wood case with pineapple finials. The engraved backplate inscribed Wm. Allam, London. Minor losses to case; silk-backed frets on sides of a later date.
