FREDERICK RONDEL SR. (1826-1892) NORTH FLORIDA WILDERNESS LANDSCAPE. Oil on board scene shows a wetland area with egret standing in shallow water. A large tree and rock shade the bird under white and blue sky. Signed lower left. Housed in what appears to be its original gilt gesso decorated frame with gilt liner. Accompanying the painting is a Certificate of Authentication by Richard Carta of Florida. SIZE: 10" x 14". CONDITION: Relined, minor touch up. Very good. 9-94021 (4,000-6,000)
