Condition/Details: Bound in pebbled brown cloth with gilt lettering, this antique volume is a scarce work on the political history of the State of Connecticut. This is copy number 262 of 1000. The work is illustrated with many tissue-covered plates. The volume shows external age/wear, with spine cover with moisture markings detached from front gutter. Markings from spine carry over to one edge of front cover. Front hinge is weak. Pages with gilt top edge are clean and unmarked. The book measures approximately 7 1/2" x 10" and contains 385 pages.
