England, late 18th-early 19th century. Rare with 34" octagon to round barrel has gold bands and inlay "Inevitabile Fatum" and "Manton-London". Finely made, the stock is offset at the wrist for a right hand shooter that used his left eye to sight. Engraved hardware. Glued splits and restorations on stock.
