Five (5) Piece Alphonse La Paglia for International Sterling Wooden Handled Sterling Silver Coffee and Tea Service in a Modernist Ball and Ring Pattern. La Paglia worked for Georg Jensen and was contracted to create a line of modern silver for International in 1952. He died in an accident less than a year later. Signed International Sterling, La Paglia Designed and Numbers on Each Piece. Service Includes: Teapot Measuring 6 Inches Tall and 12-1/2 Inches Long, Coffee Pot Measuring 8-1/4 Inches Tall and 10-3/4 Inches Long, Covered Sugar Measuring 4-3/4 Inches Tall and 4-3/4 Inches Diameter, Creamer Measuring 3-5/8 Inches Tall and 6-3/4 Inches Long and Service Tray Measuring 24 Inches Long and about 15 Inches Wide.
