European, 19th century. Signed "V. Hafner, Kgl. Hofbuchsenmacher Cassel" both on the interior case label as well as gold inlay on the top flats of the barrels. Chased and gilded vining and cherubs on the frames with original blueing on barrels. Set triggers, ivory slab grips have some damage. An elaborate monogram on the grip case. 15 1/2"l. Original figured veneer on the fitted case with engraved plate on top. "Richard Berridge". Includes oiler, cleaning rod and screwdrivers.
