Attributed to Abner Toppan, Newburyport, Massachusetts, 1810, the bed with vase and ring-turned, reeded, and swelled foot posts joined to the chamfered tapering head posts and arched headboard by an arched canopy frame, old red stained surface, ht. 83, wd. 49, lg. 72 in; the chamber stand with square pierced top on beaded square legs joined by a cutout skirt and medial shelf with incised beaded drawer, refinished, remnants of red stain, ht. 31, top 12 x 12 in.
