Description: Produced between 1864 and 1870. Silver blade front and hammer notch rear sights, marked "MOORE'S PAT. FIRE ARMS CO. BROOKLYN, N.Y." on top. A checkerboard pattern is visible on the lower section of the barrel lug, with the rest of the barrel, a band on the cylinder, and the frame decorated in a fine scroll engraving with punch-dot background and light floral and border work. Grips are smooth mother of pearl with a bird's head butt. Matching partial serial numbers on the wedge, cylinder, and frame.

Condition: Fine, with traces of the original blue and 60% of the original silver. A bright gray patina has formed on the barrel and cylinder, with some minor variations in color and minimal pitting and spotting. Patinated brass is visible along the edges and in a few patches on the frame, with an excellent aged color to the silver. Action is good. Grips are very fine, with exception of two thin hairline cracks on the top left and right center.
