This rifle is marked "DAVID HN / BREVETE" on the left side of the barrel lug under the loading lever. It has a fixed notched rear sight and is missing a front sight. The frame, tangs, buttplate tang and scroll style trigger guard feature a vine and leaf engraving. The floral engraving extends to the 6-shot cylinder marked with a Liege ELG proof. Functions in single and double action. It has a loading gate. Mounted on a checkered straight grip stock with shotgun style iron buttplate. Consignor states that this rifle was a WWII GI souvenir brought back from a port town in Italy.
