Oblong 4° (153 x 195mm), engraved portrait of the author and 61 engraved illustrations after C. Metzger. (Title browned, also heavily soiled and tattered at margins, portrait soiled at lower margin, lightly browned throughout, some heavy staining and soiling of margins.) Old vellum (slightly bowed).
