Views of China and Tsingtau. Circa 1910. 91 vintage collodion prints. Most circa 10 x 15 cm, 15 x 10 cm. Mounted to album boards, bound in bordeaux canvas album (some traces of use).
Views of streets, landscapes and rural life around Tsingtau as well as harbor scenes and war ships (circa 20 photos in total). Also many private photos of a German architect living in Tsingtau showing his family, colleagues and many of the buildings he designed. - Some faded, otherwise in very good condition.
