AFTER JOHN JAMES AUDUBON BY ROBERT HAVELL Cat Bird (Plate CXXVIII), from The Birds of America Turdus Felivox engraving with aquatint and hand-coloring, 1831, on J Whatman, with margins, pale mat and time staining, minor surface soiling mostly at the extreme margin edges and on the reverse, the occasional pale foxmark in the margins, a 1-in. vertical tear at the center of the upper margin edge, a small loss at the upper right margin corner, otherwise in good condition, framed P. 19 3/8 x 12 1/8 in. (492 x 307 mm.) S. 38 3/8 x 25 7/16 in. (974 x 645 mm.)
