Produced between 1901 and 1915, several features of these arms were integrated in Mossberg's Brownie pistol. The left side of the pistol is marked "UNIQUE/ C.S. SHATUCK ARMS CO./ HATFIELD, MASS.". This is the correct markings for the pistol, as the toolmaker misspelled Shattuck with a single "T". Smooth finish, with a tip down barrel and an ejection rod stored in a compartment in the right side of the frame.
