Bonington (Richard Parkes, 1801-1828 ) figure studies for a market scene, and a study of church tower, watercolour over pencil, 135 x 205mm., framed and glazed, c.1824. This drawing has been authenticated by Patrick Noon, and will appear in his catalogue raisonné as no. 287. He relates it to a group of drawings executed by Bonington at Dunkerque in 1824.
