In August 2008, the Summer Olympic Games was held in Beijing. In honor of this historic event, the People's Bank of China issued Precious Metal Commemorative Coins for the XXIX Olympiad. The program consists of THREE Series - each consisting of 6 coins: two 1/3 ounce gold proofs and four 1 ounce silver proofs. The coins in the set have been handled, no longer proof. Tested.
