21" Automaton with bisque head doll DEP 3. This appears to be a Simon & Halbig with stationary blue eyes, open/closed mouth, pierced ears (flake), curly brown human hair wig. Painted bisque lower arms, papier mache lower kegs. Clothing - blue silk tafetta dress, gold velvet bolero jacket with blue silk cuffs, all trimmed with narrow ivory silk ruffle. Ivory silk sash. (2) Petticoats, pantaloons. She is standing on a velvet trimmed box. When key is wound, doll is holding two sticks attached by a string. A brass pendulum goes from left to right and back and doll's head turns. All are in good working order. Condition: no flaws observed in bisque. Silk sash has age deterioration.
