F10, pp. 76-7 NOTES This rare silvered bronze ‚preuve ancienne may well date from the late 1850s, shortly after the highly decorative and unique silvered, gilt and enamelled casts of Guerrier tartare, the Roger et Ang‚lique garniture, and Gaston de Foix were commissioned by and completed for 쳌mile Martin ( see Poletti & Richarme, 2000, pp. 438-442, figs. 510-15).
