ANTIQUE AMERICAN WRITING DESK Second Quarter of the 19th Century
In walnut with original brown grain-painted finish. Upper section with three open shelves with pierced carved lyre-form end supports. Unusual pierced carved back. Lower section with three stepback drawers above a fold-out writing surface above two half-drawers with bold molded full-eagle pulls. Two open shelves below with turned supports. Height 63". Width 36". Depth 16 1/4".
