Description: An Italian Morian in the Spanish Fashion, Early 17th Century, with one-piece almond shaped crown rising to a vestigial 'stalk', slightly down-turned narrow integral brim, formed at its edge with a roped inward turn, the base of crown with fourteen iron rivets and brass rosette washers (one rivet and washer missing, hole enlarged).
