Description: realistically modeled with four large leaves and three smaller interior leaves, applied with two smaller cabbages at the side, the leaves with bright green tops, brown veins and white lower section, also enameled with butterflies and insects. Two leaves ground down at the rim on smaller cabbage, small repair to one large leaf at the tip. height 12 in. (30.5 cm.) PROVENANCE: Sotheby's London, April 22, 1969, lot 351.
