A variant of Westminster Abbey was reproduced in Coburn's 1909 book, London. A variant of Parliament appeared in G. K. Chesterton's London, 1914.
Mrs. Dabo was the wife of the painter Leon Dabo (1868-1960), a good friend of Alvin Langdon Coburn. Dabo was one of the organizers of the 1913 Armory Show, and is best known for his murals in the Church of St. John the Baptist, Brooklyn, New York.
