Notes: Stieglitz included this 'Equivalent' in the 1925 Société Anonyme exhibition at the Brooklyn Museum. The print was titled 'Equivalent No. 314' and its present location in unknown.

Stieglitz made aproximately nine prints of this image including those in the 'Stieglitz Collections' at the Beinecke Rare Book and Manuscript Library, Yale University, New Haven; George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, Rochester; Library of Congress, Washington, D.C.; The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York; The Philadelphia Museum of Art; and The Phillips Collection, Washington, D.C.

'Equivalents' which are signed, titled and dated by Stieglitz and with the original 'American Place' frame are considered rare.
