Paris, 1901 E800-1200 Second edition of a work based on legendary tales that Adams heard from the Queen of Tahiti and her family during his 1891 trip to the South Seas; revised and considerably enlarged from the 1893 first edition entitled Memoirs of Marau Taaroa, of which only a small number of copies were printed. BAL 29 with An Inscription From Adams, dated Papara, Tahiti, 1902, to the library of the Century Association, one of the 2 New York City private clubs together with the Knickerbocker to which he belonged.
