Condition/Details: Decoratively bound in navy blue morocco leather boards with gilt page edges, gilt illustration on front board and gilt embossing on spine, this vintage volume is a beautiful, scarce limited edition volume, signed by Ernest H. Shepard, the English artist and book illustrator. Included with the book is an authenticity certificate from Flat Signed Press, authenticating the signature. This is the first volume of stories in Milne's popular Pooh series, which was first published in 1926. This limited edition copy is numbered 110 of 300. The volume is full of wonderful color drawings, and illustrated endpapers. This book is housed in its original slipcase of navy cloth paper boards and gilt on spine and front cover. The volume shows well, with some light sunning along the spine and faint rubbing, and is solidly bound with clean, crisp pages. The book measures approximately 6" x 9.5" and contains 145 pages.
