QIANLONG (1796-1820)
Supported on four straight knopped legs of square section, terminating in stylised hoof feet and joined by a scrolled apron below the slightly waisted top, decorated throughout with scrolling lotus inhabited by bats, the top with eight striding chilong surrounded by a border of squared spiral involving kueilong on a mauve ground, all reserved in pale turquoise and picked out in a variety of shaded colours including green, iron-red, amber and additional mauve, minor enamel infill
