Description: A wooden Yu'pik dance mask from northern Alaska with medium patina. The mask is of a waxy consistency with a long face and a pointed mouth with six carved teeth, with narrow eyes, a peaked brow, and a slender nose. The exterior is painted with in white pigment with red lines across the mouth, eyes, and eyebrows. A very well-preserved and rare piece.

Dimensions: height 15.9" - 40.5 cm., diameter 8.5" - 21.5 cm.
