Description: A MAMLUK ENAMELLED GLASS BEAKER SYRIA, PROBABLY ALEPPO, THIRD QUARTER 13TH CENTURY Of high cylindrical form widely flaring at the mouth and on trailed foot, the exterior with an upper register of blue enamelled running animals against arabesques outlined in red on gold ground above the principal register with three nimbate musicians, divided by a foliate spray, narrow lower register of quatrefoils within roundels, repaired, slight restoration, areas of iridescence 5 3/8in. (13.5cm.) high
