A GRAND RECTANGULAR PIETRA DURA TOP TABLE WITH CARVED STONE SUPPORTS
20th Century
The rectangular black marble top is inlaid with agate, lapus lazuli, malachite, topaz, and mother-of-pearl in addition to other marbles in a symmetrical floral and foliate composition. The top is supported by a pair of hand-carved rouge marble pedestals, each adorned with a pair of winged monopods.
Condition: No veneer losses; minor chipping to plinth bases. Overall condition very good. Top: 95 x 47 1/2 x 1 1/2 inches (241.3 x 120.7 x 3.8 cm)
