Description: A good silver circular salver formed from a George III salver with added cast and chiselled wide rim with fruiting vines, leafage and shell motifs, on three conforming panel feet, the centre engraved with bold C-scroll, leaf and floral ornament, 17.5ins diameter, centre part hallmarked London 1787, the rim and panel feet now bearing complying hallmarks for London 2012 (weight 76ozs - centre inscribed with crest "Presented by the Parishioners of Sutton Maddock to their much respected Vicar The Revd. George Whitmore......6th January 1857"
