The matching shakudo nanako mounts comprising: kabutogane, menuki, fuchi, ashi-kanamono, taikogane, semekanamono, ishizuki-kanamono and an aoi tsuba with o-seppa, all decorated with gilt hollyhock crests in high relief; the saya lacquered nashiji with hollyhock crests in gold hiramaki-e; the hilt and the center wrapped in a pale-green silk band with the character kotobuki and treasures in gold, also wrapped in purple strings in diagonal pattern

With a certificate of registration designating this set as the 38th Juyo tosogu (Important Sword Fitting) no. 9324 issued by the Nihon Bijutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japanese Art Sword), dated 1992.10.30.
