The skillet with cylindrical body on three shaped drop feet with socket supporting turned wood handle, applied shield to front engraved with contemporary arms, shield is aligned to the corresponding crest, helm and mantle engraved to the porringer form cover with pierced trefoil handle. The cover is faintly engraved: This porringer was formerly the property of (Elizabeth?) Bamfield Aunt to Sir... Bamfield to whom she left...
