Travel album (Egypt, Algeria, France). Ca. 1870. 83 Vintages. Albumin prints mounted on
album pages in original album with gold-embossed green leather hard cover. Ca. 9,5-21,5 x
5,5-27,5 cm (album: 32 x 39,5 cm). Two images in the right lower image border signed and
numbered by Hammerschmidt in the negative. Each titled below the image. A few of the
depictions were hand coloured. Partially with traces of use. The qualitative created album
contains amongst others several impressive depictions of the
Cheops-, Chephren- and the Sakhara-Pyramids.:
