PROVENANCE: The consignor's grandfather Alfred Coleman retired from the C.R.R. of New Jersey in 1981 and then returned to his native city of Bremen where he reunited with his first love Mollies Damant. He stayed with her until 2002 when health reasons forced him to return to the United States. His son Alfred Jr. was a frequent visit to Mrs. Damant's home and in 2002, she invited him to go through scores of old books and paraphernalia in the upper level of her home in Achim during which time five Nazi propaganda books were discovered. Mrs. Damant had purchased the books during the mid 1930's and they remained untouched in her home for over seventy years. The books were given to Alfred Jr. and descended to the consignor. MEASUREMENTS: 12-3/8" x 9-3/4". CONDITION: Excellent condition with minor dust jacket wear, surface corrosion to staples at photo of Hitler between pages eight and nine.
