17" LIMOGES HAND PAINTED VASE

Painted with 3 scenic panels outlined in gilt borders with white shell patterns on the corners. The main panel is painted with a young man and woman running through the forest, the woman has long golden hair and wears a transparent white dress, the man has dark hair and wears fur clothing, he holds the woman in his left arm. The two side panels have matching woodland scenes with flowers, one has a group of 4 blue birds perched on a branch, the other has a group of colorful red birds. The vase has a slightly tapered form curving in at the neck and flared at the rim. In excellent condition, with some very minor surface scratches; signed "Limoges" with a green ink stamp.
