Description: By Hidemasa I, Kyoto/Tokyo, Early 19th century. Standing and carrying two scrolls on his back. The scrolls, and his feet are of ivory and his eyes are ivory with black pupils. The ivory on the scrolls has orange streaks from the rich patina. Signed on his back in an oval inlaid ivory panel, Hidemasa. 2 1/4in (5.6cm).
