  Willingham Auctions was first established in 1959 by Raymond Munns, and ran as a popular Auctioneers and Estate Agents for twenty five years. The owner retired in 1984.

   

  The salerooms consist of a complex of old barns and outbuildings. Colin and Gail Peeke - Vout who now run Willingham Auctions purchased the property in 1990, and renovated the house and outbuildings. Eight years ago they re-opened the auction rooms and three years later were joined by Stephen Drake who is the Saleroom Manager/ Auctioneer.

   

  Willingham Auctions prides itself on being a friendly and approachable Auction House, enjoying its relationship with regular customers, and always looking forward to meeting new clients.
  
  Two years ago we acquired Saffron Walden Auctions, and hold sales approximately every six weeks, on a Sunday commencing at 11.00am. These sales consist of 500 lots of antique and later furnishings, silver, clocks, china and glass etc.

   

  Our Services

   

  Entries are always welcome and collecting items poses no problem as we use our own vans and staff for this, anything from single items to full house clearances and as we operate the Willingham and Saffron Walden Salerooms you can choose which Saleroom you would like your items to be sold in.
  
  House Clearance

  Willingham Auctions offers a full or part house clearance service, handled by our own experienced staff. A member of our staff will be only too pleased to visit the property and discuss, free of charge and without obligation, the clearance in question. If the client decides to proceed all auctionable items will be brought back to our salerooms and auctioned accordingly, and items we consider unsuitable for auction will be appropriately disposed of.
  
  Statements listing individual items and prices achieved accompany cheque payment, which is mailed 1st class to the client on the Tuesday after the sale.

   

  Valuation
  Willingham Auctions offers a Valuation Service for the purposes of both Insurance and Probate. We also offer free verbal valuations to all clients with goods brought to our premises.

   

  Delivery
  We are able to offer our own delivery service, with our own staff and transport. Pricing for this service will be agreed prior to delivery depending on items and location.
