  Knotty Pine has been a leader & resource for antiques since 1960. Establishing itself as on the of the nation’s first & largest group antique shops through the 1970’s, 1980’s & 1990’s & re-establishing itself as one of the area’s largest & most active auction galleries in Southwestern NH, servicing not only New England, but the nation & beyond.
  
  Knotty Pine prides itself on estate fresh & collection fresh auctions boasting 2 galleries located in its 22,000 square foot facility for all your auction needs. The gallery is located 4 miles south of Keene NH & only 3 hours from NYC & 1 ½ hours from both Boston MA & Hartford CT, making it convenient from anywhere in the Northeast. Knotty Pine offers general antique estate & specialty auctions nearly every Thursday, February through December in its 3,000 square foot Annex Gallery & specialty & on-line auctions once a month in its 6,000 square foot Main Gallery. It has been a family run business, spanning 3 generations for over 50 years. Its appraisers, staff & knowledge will assist & simplify the efforts, headaches & expenses of the auction process (that are usually experienced with larger auction houses) all without compromising the auction sales results. Our appraisal staff has over 200 years of combined experience & offers a wide range of appraisals for attorneys, banks, trust companies, museums, insurance companies & tax & court purposes. We offer free verbal appraisals by chance in our Gallery Monday through Friday 9 AM-5 PM. Experts are frequently available to assist & answer questions. A call ahead of time is always recommended, as our experts are in and out on a regular basis. A scheduled Free Appraisal Day is every Thursday from 1 PM-4 PM. Several of our gallery appraisers are on hand to offer free verbal appraisals on a wide range of antiques (no jewelry please). The gallery has one simple objective, to obtain the highest price(s) possible for your antiques. The gallery & its agents will work hard to put together professional quality auctions with proper advertising to target the right clientele & market, a comprehensive website & on-line bidding reaching national & worldwide audiences (no longer only available to larger auction houses), and a creative competitive bidding environment to achieve the highest possible prices for your antiques & collectibles.   The gallery is always actively seeking quality antique consignments from 18th, 19th & early 20th century furnishings, paintings, rugs, silver, folk art & primitives, ephemera or any other objects of art, from single items to entire collections & estates. We offer some of the most competitive commission schedules in the business, ranging & starting as low as 0% for higher end objects & based on a sliding scale thereafter, as the value of the item goes up, the commission rates go down. Commission fees are always negotiable & are based on the sales value of the item(s) being consigned.
