  The Kisharon family of Special Needs Services was established in 1976 with the opening of a day school, based in Golders Green, to cater for the education and welfare of Jewish children with moderate to severe learning disabilities.
  
  Kisharon's services have grown to encompass a integrated nursery, vocational training centre for adults, a dedicated autistic provision and a residential home. With the recent move to Parson Street, in Hendon, North West London, Kisharon is able to unify and further enhance its specialist services and the support it provides for these particularly vulnerable children and adults.
  
  Kisharon has succeeded in creating a multi- purpose environment for adults with special needs that includes a synagogue, an art and music studio, therapy rooms and, specifically for autistic students, a multi sensory (snoezelyn) room.
  
  The Vocational Units will consist of carpentry, gold blocking, bookbinding, horticultural and textile workshops - purpose designed to ensure the safety and productivity of people with learning disabilities. Future plans include facilities for parents and teachers to increase their understanding of the students' needs by way of training opportunities and a Research and Development library.
  
  Kisharon Art Auction
  
  In previous years we have held very successful fundraising dinners; however this year we decided, alongside our other 30th year celebrations, to organise something original!
  
  This year we are holding an auction at McDougall’s Auctions in Charles II Street, off of St James’ Square London SW1Y 4AE. The items on sale will be available for viewing on 31th October from 2 until 7 pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
