About Us

Even after 20 years as the world's leading Specialty Auctions of "Technical Antiques", we still get lots of questions from new clients and customers as well as beginning collectors.

No matter whether you are an advanced collector, a museum curator or director, an ambitious enthusiast or just a beginner, you will find your most wanted collector's items and exhibit pieces in our world's leading Specialty Auctions of "Technical Antiques".

The fully illustrated catalogues are always mailed to subscribers 3-4 weeks prior to the sale and are distributed worldwide. They contain photographs of every item and include descriptions in German with English captions on the major items.

It is, of course, best to personally (or by friends) inspect the desired items during our convenient viewing times which are published in the catalogue.

Over the years we have sold more than 80% of all offered material to absentee bidders around the world. You can, with confidence, join the thousands of satisfied buyers who use our catalogues with photographs and accurate descriptions of each item. We don't use flowery terms and we also provide separate ratings for both visual/cosmetic and technical conditions. We rate items on a scale of 1 - 6 (one being the best and six the worst) so that you have a true picture of each lot.

After studying our catalogue you are able to analyze the offered item perfectly. For example, a typewriter with condition rating of 4/2 means, visually or cosmetically the machine does not look good and shows its age, but technically it works well. On the other hand, an indicated rating of 2/5 tells you that the machine looks good, but does not work at all as important pieces are missing.

Good luck and happy hunting.
