Pizzi, Milano After World War II, the Andrea Doria was Italy's largest & fastest ship, an emblem of pride for the entire country. Known as one of the most luxurious ocean liners of its day, the routes advertised here to the Mediterranean and Europe would have been particularly appealing. In 1956, three years after its maiden voyage, the ship would sink after colliding with the MS Stockholm. Canvas backed. Small pinhole UL and LR. Fine condition. 38" x 24"
