Description: A Meissen Ornithological part dessert service late 19th / early 20th century, comprising twenty plates with slightly lobed, ozier moulded rims and three square shallow serving dishes with serpentine rims and rounded incuse corners, each decorated with a garden or exotic bird on a branch, the rims within.ects gilt edges, together with a pair of large square bowls, the interiors decorated within.ects and the four sides with a study of a bird, with underglaze blue crossed swords and Pressnumern, the plates 8 1/4in.
