Lot 1: George III silver caster.

Description: George III silver caster of vase form with reeded borders, the detachable lid with simple hole piercing and punch engraved bands, the body raised above a square footed base. Hallmarked Charles Fox I London 1802. Height measuring 6 inches (15 cm), weight 3.2 ozt (99 grams).
Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible, the lid has the maker's mark and lion passant only, full hallmarks to the neck of the body. A later amendment to the condition report - there are some small surface dints visible and a seam line visible to the short stem. The finial of the lid is slightly off centre, indicating a possible repair or it may just be as made.

Lot 2: A pair of George III silver sauce boats.

Description: A pair of George III silver sauce boats with high arch leaf capped double scroll handle, floral scroll embossing to the body with beaded rim and raised above three shell mounted hoof feet. Hallmarked London 1777, the maker tentatively attributed to Charles Hougham. Height including handle 5 1/4 inches (13 cm), gross weight 17.28 ozt (537 grams).
Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Wear to the detail of the decoration, particular damage and solder repairs to both sides on each sauce boat. The feet have slightly imprinted to to the inner. The cartouche are vacant. The hallmarks appear rubbed but legible, particularly the maker's marks.

Description: A pair of Edwardian silver mounted liqueur decanters of 'glug' form, silver mounted collars and spherical glass stoppers. Hallmarked Hukin & Heath (John Thomas Heath & John Hartshorne Middleton) Birmingham 1908. Height measuring 5 1/2 inches (14 cm).
Condition Report: In good overall condition. The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. minor nibbles to the glass. The hallmarks are clear and legible.

Description: George III silver cream jug of oval form, personal initial engraving and reeded rim. Hallmarked London 1806, the maker possibly Peter & William Bateman. Height measuring 3 1/2 inches (9 cm), weight 4.4 ozt (139 grams).
Condition Report: The lot displays general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. Soft solder repair visible to the underside of the lip. The hallmarks are clear and legible, maker's mark worn.

Description: An early twentieth century silver mounted and cut glass claret jug with bulbous body leading to a cylindrical neck and silver collar and hinged domed lid embossed with foliate scrolls. Hallmarked Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Co Ltd London 1910. Height measuring 10 inches (25.5 cm).
Condition Report: The claret jug appears in good overall structural condition displaying general surface scratches, marks, wear and tarnishing commensurate with the age and use. There is some heavier tarnishing and would benefit from a clean and polish. A few minor nibbles and chips to the glass. The lid just rises slightly to one side. The cartouche are vacant. The hallmarks are clear and legible.
