Lot 1: Wool and Linen Jacquard
coverlet in red, blue, green and beige having a floral and snowflake design. Signed and dated "MADE + BY Fehr & Keck+ IN EMAUS+1843" in the weaving and embroidered "Jacob Gerhart". Probably Pennsylvania.
Lot 2: Needlework sampler
on homespun in the manner of Pennsylvania needlework, having a border of strawberries connected with zigzag banding with a saying at the top flanked by strawberry plants. Beneath is a central design with diamonds surrounding birds and flanking more b [...more]
Lot 3: Sheraton 1 drawer stand
grain painted red and yellow over pine, having a rounded corner top set on a case with a single drawer set on 4 shaped legs ending in turnings over tapered feet.. Possibly N.Y. State.
Lot 4: Terrestrial tabletop globe
surrounded by a metal band and set in a red painted cast iron frame ending in 3 scrolled feet. Label is partly missing and reads "J.S.CHED__R'S, E Steiger, NY 1873". Some damage and flaking to sphere.
Lot 5: Walnut chest of 4 drawers
having an applied molded edge top set on a case containing 4 graduated drawers set on applied ogee feet. Possibly Pennsylvanian in origin. Probably original post and bail brass.
